WARNINGS:

• Switch on the instrument and set the SATELLITE operating mode;
• Select the desired satellite and transponder;
• Connect the instrument to a SCR signal source (LNB or multiswitch).

A ) SCR PROCEDURE for the FOLLOWING MODELS:

ATOM LIGHT series, ATOM POWER, DM-15 DIGIMAX, DIGICUBE, TOUCHMETER, HD LIGHT, HD COMPACT S2 & STC
EASY METER series by PRIME DIGITAL, HD TAB 4 series
TAB 5 series and TAB 7 ULTRA
HD TAB 7 series, HD TAB 700 series, HD TAB 9 series, HD TAB 900 series
HD FLASH & TOUCH, HD PRO & PROTAB Series

Note: The following procedure is used in the models that have mecchanical and TOUCH commands.

1. Press the power on key: “HOME”;
2. Select the “SPECIAL FUNCT” icon and press ENTER;
3. Select “SAT SCR” and press ENTER;
4. Select “LNB TYPE” and the model of your installed LNB;
5. Select “SCR USER” and select the number of user under test: for example, “USER N.1”, “USER N.2”, “USER N.3”, “USER N.4”, etc;
6. Depending on the instrument model used, press directly the “SAT” key or the “MEAS” key to start the measurements, or the“SPECT” key to display the spectrum.

NOTE: On the bottom left part of the display alternatively appears the battery symbol and the selected SCR user number. To change the user number, repeat the above procedure, when on step 5 select the wanted “USER N.”.

“SCR PROCEDURE to “TEST SAT CABLES”:

If you want to make, in SPECTRUM mode, a check of the output frequencies of the SCR LNB/multiswitch, after step 5 select and press “SRC CABLE TEST”.

Note: The MENU (written and graphic) of the figures shown in the following “F.A.Q.” may vary from model to model or depending on SW upgrade.

B ) SCR PROCEDURE for the FOLLOWING MODELS:

ST-4 series, DM16-C DIGIMAX series, EXAMINER series, DM16-Q DIGIMAX and ATOM HD

1. ST-4 instrument: Press the “S.C.R. LNB” key;
2. For all other instruments listed above: press and hold for 2 seconds the “DiSEqC MOTOR” key;
3. If available, select “LNB TYPE “ and the model of your installed LNB;
4. Select “SCR USER” and select the number of user under test: for example, “USER N.1”, “USER N.2”, “USER N.3”, “USER N.4”, etc;
5. Press directly the “MEAS” key to perform the measurements, or the “SPECT” key to display the spectrum.

Note: In correspondence of the SCR writing on the front panel label of the graphic display, the SCR user number will be displayed. To change the user number, repeat the above procedure, when on step 4 select the wanted “USER N.”.

“SCR PROCEDURE to ” TEST SAT CABLES”:

If you want to make, in SPECTRUM mode, a check of the output frequencies of the SCR LNB/multiswitch, after step 4 select and press “SatSCR CABLE TEST”. For further information or clarifications please contact your ROVER distributor.
